Its walls have witnessed the passage of time and the appearance of luxury in Madrid. Its entrance, guarded by the figure of the god Hermes, conveys the nobility of the building, and its passage of carriages, with imposing 7-meter-high ceilings, leads in a straight line to a secret garden with a pool.
The iconic Suite 19, the hotel's current events room, is perfectly preserved, lacking furniture and curtains, with walls decorated with wallpaper, probably from the Madrid Royal Factory and considered to be of cultural interest by Heritage. Its fireplace front is made of white Carrara marble and the gilded moldings are a recreation of the Louis XVI style.
