The Bahía Tropical hotel, opened in the year 2001, is located at the old site of Taramay´s camp, surrounded by a natural environment, only separated from the Playa Galera by a small coastal road. The old town of Almuñecar is situated 3 km. away and Málaga airport is 92 km from the hotel. In the immediate vicinity (within 3 km. radius) there are shopping facilities, restaurants, bars, pubs and entertainment venues.
The hotel facilities and services include 24 h. reception, lobby area with lifts, internet access (with extra charge), banquet and conference room, hairdresser, restaurants, bar, café, roof-top barbecue and “chill out” area (only open during the summer), outdoor pool, children´s pool, sun terrace, mini club and children´s playground. In addition, it offers a Spa with indoor pool, sauna and massage service, fitness centre and paddle courts (all with extra charge).
The rooms are equipped with A/C, TV, direct telephone line, safe, mini bar and bathroom with hairdryer. Laundry service is available.
